This was the scene upon the
arrival of the the Kewaunee Fire Dept. of a vacant house at
N3814 Cedar Lane, on New years Eve. The battle was quickly
joined by mutual aid partners of Algoma Fire & Carlton Fire,
with additional aid from Casco & Luxemburg Fire Depts.
Wisconsin Public Service responded to cut off power to the
site and road sanders from the Kewaunee Co Highway Dept.
were sent to sand roads from the numerous water fill
stations back to the fire scene.
