Stanley J. Weber

Stanley J. Weber, 90, of Sturgeon Bay, died Friday morning, January 17, 2014, at his home.

He was born in 1923, the son of the late Francis and Mabel (Emery) Weber. Following his graduation from Sturgeon Bay High School, Stan served with the U.S. Navy in WWII from 1940 to 1943. He had owned and operated his mink ranch in Rowleys Bay until moving to Sturgeon Bay when he was employed with Roen Steamship Co.

Survivors include his sister, Gretna (Nicholas) Wagener of Sturgeon Bay and Florida; four nephews, Emery (Louise) Roe of Berkley, CA, Carlton (Fusako) Roe of American Canyon, CA, Andrew (Juanita) Wagener, Christopher (Ann) Wagener, both of Appleton; two nieces, Laura Warick of Sturgeon Bay, Cheryl (John) Zadrazil of Appleton; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emery (WWII); sister, Marion Gesler; infant sister, Jeanette.

A Memorial Mass will be held in the spring of 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
