Linda M. Jergenson, age 57 of the Town of Montpelier, formerly of Kewaunee died unexpectedly at Aurora Baycare Medical Center. She was born on February 16, 1956 in Kewaunee to the late Norbert and Adeline (Lazansky) Doperalski.
Linda graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1974. She married David Jergenson October 17, 1981. She worked at Fort Howard Paper Co. for many years. While raising her children she did home child day care and later worked in the deli at Kewaunee Piggly-Wiggly store for about thirteen years followed by working at several assisted living facilities until retiring. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, crocheting, and putting puzzles together.
Survivors include her Husband: David Jergenson; two daughters and one son-in-law: Heather and Chad VanLanen, Kewaunee; Stacy Jergenson and special friend Carlos Castro, Kewaunee; one granddaughter: Natalie VanLanen; her four furry four legged friends: Diesel, Tito, LuLu and her special little Bunky, one brother: Randy Doperalski, Green Bay; one sister: Laure Doperalski and special friend and brother-in-law; Neil Jergenson, Casco; her mother-in-law: Marie Jergenson, Kewaunee; a sister-in-law: Jackie Doperalski, Green Bay; three brothers-in-law: Mark Jergenson, Mishicot; Scott (Wendy) Jergenson, Kewaunee; Jeff Stock, Newton; two sisters-in-law: Julie Jergenson, Kewaunee; Connie Jergenson, Luxemburg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother: David Doperalski; her father-in-law: Warren Jergenson; two brothers-in-law: Jim Jergenson; Kenneth Jergenson; two sisters-in-law: Jean Doperalski and Kathy Stock.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 31 at St. Hedwig Church, East Krok until the time of services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Dennis Drury. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery at a later date.
