Betty Lou Stephenson

Betty Lou (Haen) Stephenson, 70, of Lexington, KY and Green Lake, WI, wife of Elton Stephenson, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014.

Betty was the daughter of the late Lester Sr. and Regina Kita Haen. She is survived by her son, Larry (Cheryl) Stephenson, New Lenox, IL; daughter, Beth (John) Barnott, Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Ashley Stephenson and Jake Barnott; two sisters, Evelyn Schick, New Berlin, WI and Elaine Stoffel, Sturgeon Bay, WI; one brother, Lester (Marilyn) Haen, Green Bay, WI; a special sister-in-law, Joyce Stephenson, Lexington, KY, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her brother-in-laws, Eugene Stephenson, Bill Stoffel, Bill Schick; and nephew, John Schick.

A visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay, Fr. Robert Stegmann officiating, following with the entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery and Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; 651 West Washington Blvd, Suite 400, Chicago, IL 60661.
