Jeffrey Michael Heppe, 42, of Sturgeon Bay, formerly of Oconomowoc and Milwaukee, died early Monday morning, February 3, 2014, at home in the town of Sevastopol.

He was born April 25, 1971, in Sturgeon Bay, to Clifford and Sharon (Birnschein) Heppe. Upon his graduation from Kilmore High School in Milwaukee, Jeff went on to study diesel mechanics at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He worked as a mechanic for Lamers in Milwaukee for four years and later for Paratech Ambulance Service (also in Milwaukee) for thirteen years.

Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman who had a passion for working on vehicles. He also enjoyed watching television shows such as CSI.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his two children, Amanda (Mike) Paquette of Madison, Brandon Heppe of Whitewater, (and their mother, Christine (Duane) Yerges of Green Bay); parents, Cliff and Sharon Heppe of Sturgeon Bay; brother, Daniel (Lisa Butenhof) Heppe (and daughter, Kara Kowalski) of Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; and special friend, Cindy Grunewald.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Institute (in Sturgeon Bay) with Fr. Robert Stegmann officiating. Friends may call at the church, Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
