Clarice Anderson-Ripp

Clarice Anderson-Ripp, 63, of St. Paul, MN and formerly of Door County and California, passed away on March 29, 2014, at the University of Minnesota Fairview Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on July 5, 1950, in Door County to William and Dorothy (Davidson) Off.

Clarice graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1968 and earned a BA in Psychology from St. Norbert College in DePere, WI in 1972. She later became a registered nurse and worked in pediatric home health care for 23 years.

Clarice was a lover of life and an incredibly caring and charitable person. She was passionate about many causes and charities, particularly Amnesty International. Her compassion for others led her to take on the most difficult of pediatric home health care cases during her career. Clarice was also a great tennis enthusiast and loved to dote on her grandson.

In 1986, she married Lawrence “Larry” Ripp in St. Paul, MN. He survives along with her son, Richard Ross Anderson, St. Paul; daughter-in-law, Jamie, grandson, Griffin Anderson, her mother, Dorothy Off, Sturgeon Bay, WI; a brother, David (Rita) Off, Madison, WI; 3 sisters: Helen Peters, Houston, TX; Diane (Michael) Ritchie, Soddy Daisy, TN; and Audrey Off, Sturgeon Bay,WI. She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends and family are invited to gather at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay on Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. On-line condolences may be offered at
