Dale Alan Goehring, 45, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife of 19 years at his side on June 2, 2014. He was born in Sturgeon Bay on August 14, 1968, to Timothy and Elaine (Dietrich) Goehring. Dale graduated from Southern Door High School in 1986, and received his bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness from U.W. Stevens Point in 1990. On October 14, 1995, he married Lea Anne Sanders in Egg Harbor.
Dale was happiest when spending time with his family. Together they enjoyed canoeing, camping, fishing, sailing, gardening, traveling, and wine making. Dale worked in the banking industry for a number of years and was previously employed by U.S. Bank in Green Bay.
Survivors include his wife; two children, Nicholas and Brooke, both at home; parents, Timothy and Elaine Goehring, Sturgeon Bay; one brother, Douglas (Jeri Harrach) Goehring, Aurora, IL; grandmother, Doris (Goehring) Vandello, Green Bay; parents-in-law, Terry and Chris Sanders, Manistique, MI; sister-in-law, Eileen Spoo, Appleton; one nephew, Laurence Spoo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Goldie and Reinhold Dietrich and Merlin Goehring.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Calvary Methodist Church in Egg Harbor. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church in Egg Harbor.
