David John Delorit

David John Delorit, 58, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on July 1, 2014, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on May 10, 1956, in Rosiere to Robert and Joan (Finendale) Delorit. On May 16, 1987, he married Charlene Klansky in Baileys Harbor, she preceded him in death on January 8, 2005.

David owned and operated Delorit Sales and Service in Brussels for many years. He most recently worked for Soil Specialist in Sturgeon Bay until retiring this year. During his life, David enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling and skiing.

Survivors include one son, Joel, Brooklyn, NY; parents, Bob and Joan Delorit; three brothers, Dennis Delorit, Danny (Linda) Delorit, Randy Delorit, all of Door County; one sister, Theresa (Scott) Sheperd, Bark River, Michigan.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay with Rev. Darrick Kolterjahn officiating. Burial will be in Baileys Harbor Town Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. On-line condolences may be offered at
