Brad Guilette, 64, of Brussels, peacefully passed away at Golden Living Center-Dorchester on July 9, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 18, 1950, in Sturgeon Bay to Lloyd and Elaine (Pierre) Guilette.
Brad worked on the family farm in the Town of Union for most of his life and recently enjoyed working at the Door County Advocate. He especially enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews in their many sporting events. Brad was a special person who was quick to make a friend where ever he went.
Survivors include his mother, Elaine; his siblings, Bruce (Donna) Guilette, Racine; Brian (Terri) Guilette, Dyckesville; Barth (Sue) Guilette, Sturgeon Bay; Brett (Joanne) Guilette, Brussels; Blaine (Monica) Guilette, Sturgeon Bay; Beth (Phil) Hanson, Brussels; Barry (Cathy) Guilette, Brussels; Barb (Dave) Pavlik, Sturgeon Bay; 27 nieces and nephews; 9 great-nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd and his grandparents, Nelson and Emily Guilette, and Arthur and Lena Pierre.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish, Brussels with Deacon Paul Zenefski and Rev. Anthony Birdsall officiating. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and then after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of service.
