Mildred P. Lauder

Mildred Pauline Lauder, 89, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on August 29, 2012, at Ministry Door County Medical Center. She was born on March 7, 1923, in Merrill, WI, to Paul and Elizabeth (Kemp) Neubauer. On September 12, 1942, she married Harry Lauder in Merrill; he preceded her in death on April 15, 1999. Mildred worked at the Milwaukee Shoe Company and owned and operated the Cobbler Shop with her husband. She was also a member of Christ the King/Holy Nativity Episcopal Church.

Survivors include five children, Mary (Roy) LaViolette, Sturgeon Bay; Mike (significant other, Wendy Hanson) Lauder, Green Bay; Dan (JoAnn) Lauder; Julie (Todd) Sternard; Bob (Shannon) Lauder all of Sturgeon Bay; one son-in-law, Len Kleinschmidt, Marshfield; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Kloss, Merrill; and Marge (Edward) Hinke, Merrill. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jayme Kleinschmidt; one grandson, Timothy Kleinschmidt; two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the Forbes Funeral Home in SturgeonBay with Rt. Rev. George Hillman officiating. Burial will be in HainesvilleCemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home until the time of services. On-line condolences may be offered at
