Emil J. Kudlik

Emil J. Kudlik, 82 years, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Tuesday (October 16, 2012) at the SNF of Ministry-Door County Medical Center.

He was born September 8, 1930 in Milwaukee the son of the late Alexander and Magdalene (Lieshovski) Kudlik. After graduation from high school in 1948 he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Emil worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years in West Allis, retiring in 1985. He married Ruth Ann Gugg on April 23, 1960 in Milwaukee. Emil enjoyed music and reading.

Survivors include his two sons, Stephan P. (Cindy) Kudlik of Palmyra (and their children, D’Anne, Casey Kudlik, and Al Stachowiak), David (Kelly) Kudlik of Sturgeon Bay (and their daughter, Paige Kudlik).

Preceding him in death were his parents, and sister, Mary.

Private family services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Robert Konkol officiating. Burial with military honors will be made at St. Joseph Cemetery.
