Rick Taylor, 54 years, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away Saturday (November 3, 2012) at Ministry-Door County Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born December 26, 1957 in Florida the son of Byron A. and Rose R. (Farrell) Taylor. Rick was an auto mechanic who owned and operated his own auto service business in Florida. He and his life partner, Sandy L. Chamberlain moved to Sturgeon Bay in 1990. Rick had been employed with the Common House in Baileys Harbor.
Survivors include the love in his life, Sandy Chamberlain of Sturgeon Bay; his mother, Rose Taylor of FL; three sisters, Roseanne (Sam) Stone of NC, Shannon Schell of FL, Melanie (Bill) Hayes of FL; nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, Byron Auburn Taylor.
There will be no formal services.
