Waldo Stuth, 89, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on Dec. 1, 2012. He was born on September 19, 1923 in Shawano to Rev. Rudolph and Thea (Kniepkamp) Stuth. On August 21, 1946, he married Isla Heuer in Algoma. Waldo was a farmer and had apple and cherry orchards. He also worked for Christi Corp. and he did building and carpentry. Waldo was a long time member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife; 6 children, Larry (Linda) Stuth, Sturgeon Bay; Karin Overbeck, Sturgeon Bay; Linda (Brian) Berg, Lafayette, OR; Susen (Roy) Nelson, Oconto; Kathy (Douglas) Zillmer, Algoma; Sandra (Kevin) Carpenter, Clintonville; grandchildren, Sarah (Jon Dave) Neuville, Peter (special friend, Missy) Stuth, Andrew Stuth, Samuel (Heather) Stuth, Paul Stuth, Dustin (Janeth) Overbeck, Jacob Berg, Rebekah (Caleb) Shields, Tina (Jon) Spice, Holly (Jim) Timm, John (Nichole) Serrahn, Benjamen and David Serrahn, Jim Zillmer, Alicia (Scott) Krueger, Julie (Dan) Poe, Ehren (Tracie) Younk, Ryan (Tara) Younk, Beth Rivera, and Amanda (fiancé, Rick) Younk; 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Bobzein, Waverly, IA; brother-in-law, Terry Terhune, North Canton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Karl (Doris) Stuth; sisters, Anita (Martin) Stender and Lois Terhune; a grandson, Jesse Berg; and sons-in-law, Gary Peterson, Russell Serrahn, and Michael Overbeck.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at St. Peters Lutheran Church with the Rev. Darrick Kolterjahn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
