Joyce E. Hilsabeck

Joyce Elaine Hilsabeck, 79, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on January 1, 2013, at Golden Living Center - Dorchester. She was born August 28, 1933, in Sturgeon Bay to Nelson and Genevieve (Kraft) DeMeuse. Joyce was married to David Hilsabeck and he preceded her in death in 1956. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her seven children, Judy (David) Shepard, Donna Hilsabeck, Carol Hilsabeck, Paul (Sandra) Hilsabeck, Martin (Erin) Hilsabeck, Darrel (Christine) Hilsabeck, all of Sturgeon Bay; Cheryl (Trent) Cornelius, Manitowoc; 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother, Marie (Bill) Felhofer, Germantown; Edward (Diane) DeMeuse, Sturgeon Bay; Elaine (John) Gilson, Dykesville; Rita (Ken) Delsart, DePere; two sisters-in-law, Lois DeMeuse, Sturgeon Bay; and Marianne DeMeuse, Texas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Donald; two sisters, Mildred and Marion.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at St. Joseph Church, the Rev. Robert Konkol officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Forbes Funeral Home and then after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of services. On-line condolences may be offered at
