Margaret 'Coletta' Winnekens

Margaret "Coletta" Winnekens, 91 of Luxemburg died early Saturday morning, January 12, 2013 at Algoma Long Term Care Center.

She was born in Algoma on March 6, 1921 to the late Charles and Anna (Brandl) Feuerstein.

On December 10, 1953 Coletta married George L. Winnekens at St. Mary Church, Algoma. He preceded her in death July 28, 1993.

She was a member of St. Mary Church in Luxemburg, St. Mary Christian Mother Society and was very devoted to her faith. Her enjoyments included playing cards and visiting at the local meal sites.

Survivors include one brother and two sisters in law, Eugene and Marion Feuerstein, Marie Feuerstein all of Algoma, nieces and nephews along with many special friends. Coletta was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Feuerstein, Joseph Feuerstein.

Friends may call at St. MARY CHURCH, LUXEMBURG, 9:00 to 10:45 am Wednesday 16, 2013. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg.

Coletta's Family wishes to thank the many families who have spent time with Coletta and helped her when needed, especially Faye Davister, Cecelia Zellner, Dorothy Heim, The Simonar Family and The Vandermause Family.
