For the last 30 years she turned her attention to being the “tree lady” at Harry and Judy Porter's Tree Farm. She enjoyed the holidays on the farm helping families decorate for the holidays by either helping pick out a tree, or making wreaths and garland. She especially enjoyed the fact that she was able to live on the farm year round and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
Marge enjoyed playing bingo and was a regular Wednesday nights at the Jaycee Hall. She was a little gambler who enjoyed her lottery tickets. She enjoyed gardening and collecting. Her proudest collection is her 1700 sets of salt and pepper shakers. She also enjoyed watching her other ‘boys,’ the Institute Cubs ball team, play every Sunday. She helped spearhead a drive in the early '90s to gather donations for a scoreboard at the Institute Town Park.
But most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her ‘punkin,’ her Grandson Riley.
