Elizabeth N. Frando, 83, of Sturgeon Bay passed away at Golden Living Center-Dorchester on March 11, 2013. She was born March 7, 1930, in Kaukauna to Albert and Anna (Verkuilen) VandenBogart. On November 5, 1955, she married Norman Frando in Sturgeon Bay. She and Norman farmed in the town of Nasewaupee for many years and she also worked at Amity Leather.
Survivors include her husband, Norman; a son, Ronald (Mary) Frando, Sturgeon Bay; three grandchildren, Shannon (Bobby) Henderson, Amy Frando, Brian Frando; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry (Helen) VandenBogart, Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Orville and Joseph.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at Holy Name of Mary Church, Maplewood, the Rev. Anthony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Forbes Funeral Home and then after 9:30 a.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. A prayer service will be conducted at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
