The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Skilled Nursing Facility for the most excellent care these past months. You welcomed her into your flock and became her extended family and she spoke very highly of all of you and of how kind and compassionate you were and of the wonderful care she received. We would also like to thank her friends for these past months of companionship and for coming in to visit and wish her well on her journey home. To the hospital ER staff who so gently cared for her when her frail body gave way, we want to express our thanks. Finally to Dr. Richard Hogan whose exemplary care of her all these years made it possible for her to live to a respectable old age and maintain her independence well beyond what even she expected. Her respect and admiration for you cannot be measured in words. Agnes always summed her longevity up best when she held her head high and proclaimed, "Dr. Hogan says I am a tough old bird."
