Michael P. Kinjerski, age 83 of Kewaunee died on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Emerald Shores in Kewaunee. He was born on May 30, 1935 to the late Isidore and Stella (Knipp) Kinjerski.
He graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1953. He married Juliet Koller June 6, 1955 at St. Joseph Church at Norman.
Mike worked most of his life as a custodian at the Kewaunee County Court House. God and family were important to him. He loved playing baseball and enjoyed watching the Brewers, playing volleyball, horse shoes, dartball and dancing the polka and waltz. He was a member of the Happy Hoppers and the Democratic Party.
Survivors include his wife, Juliet; his children: Michael M. (Chris) Kinjerski; Stephen F. Kinjerski; Julie A. (Rodney) Schleis; Arnie I. (Terry) Schuller; Andrew R. Kinjerski; Christopher J. Kinjerski; Louise M. Wolfe; Peter J. (Lisa); ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; one sister: Sr. Joanne Kinjerski; one brother: Isidore (Bev) Kinjerski; a sisters-in-law: Mabel Kinjerski and Junette Fabian; a son-in-law: Gary (Kathy) Stommel; a sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Victoria D. Stommel; daughter-in-law: Patti Kinjerski; brothers and sisters-in-law: Harry (Anita); Thomas (Joyce); Lawrence (Marie); John Sr. (Jeanne); Frank (Leona); Joseph; Simon (Delores); sisters: Mary Ann Kinjerski; Rose (Milton) Pardowsky; brother-in-law: Richard Fabian; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jerry and Ann (Valenta) Koller.
Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A parish wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. by Christal Wavrunek, Pastoral Assistant. Visitation continues at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Hedwig Church, East Krok until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Dennis Drury. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery.
