Clifford J. Tebon, 82, of Sturgeon Bay passed away at Anna’s Health Care on December 29, 2020. He was born in Algoma on February 7, 1938 to Goldie and Laura (Malfroid) Tebon. On July 31, 1957 he married Dianne Neubauer, she preceded him in death on August 18, 2013.
After serving in the U. S. Navy, Cliff established Culligan Service in Sturgeon Bay and became “the Culligan Man” serving Door County for over 55 years. He enjoyed traveling and motor homing across the U.S.A. Cliff and Dianne’s second home was a beautiful motor home park called the Florida Grande in Webster, FL. They enjoyed the camaraderie of the friends they met there along with the beautiful weather.
Cliff loved the outdoors. Fishing and hunting with family and friends was his favorite hobby. He was always looking for “the big one” or “the one that got away!”
Survivors include his four sons, Steve, Boca Raton, FL; Jeff, Sturgeon Bay; Dennis, Chaska, MN; Carl (Brenda), Dubuque, IA; a daughter, Roxanne (Dennis ) Schopf, Sturgeon Bay; fifteen grandchildren: Dori Tebon, Chloe Tebon, Sage Tebon; Madeline (Andrew) Mitchell, ZsaZsa Tebon, Gunnar Tebon; Michael (Christina) Tebon, Theresa Tebon, Julia Kratz-Tebon; Erica Tebon, Elly Tebon, Rachel Tebon; Ryan (Jena) Schopf; Robby Schopf (friend Meg Nellis), Robynn Schopf; four great-grandchildren, Kolton, Emerson, Slade and Liam; a sister, Joyce (Roy) Englebert, a brother, Don (Mercy) Tebon; in-laws, Joanne (Stan) Hoffmann, Gail (Harry) Baumann, Jack (Linda) Neubauer, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dianne; brothers, Lester and Kenny.
Cliff’s family would like to thank the most professional and caring staff at Anna’s Healthcare in Sturgeon Bay. He was loved like family and received care with the utmost dignity and respect.
Private family services will be conducted with burial at Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Maplewood. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
