Janet A. Wiericks

Janet A. Wiericks, 78, Casco, passed away at home on December 26, 2022. Janet was born on October 27, 1944, to the late Raymond & Mildred (Hunsader) Shaw. On September 30, 1989, she married Fenton Wiericks at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Casco. Jan was an animal and nature lover, she loved dogs and cats, flowers, fishing, and antiques. Jan was a hard worker her whole life.

 

Jan is survived by her husband of 33 years, Fenton Wiericks; her daughter, Lisa (Fred) Lent, Green Bay; grandchildren, Anthony (fiancé Allie) Lent, and Vanessa Lent; brothers, Bernard (Janet) Shaw, Eugene Shaw, and Clayton (Susan) Shaw; sister, Carolyn (Donald) Chike; brother-in-law, Mike (Sally) Wiericks; and Riley her Yorkie, as well as by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Shaw, and Mark (Donna) Shaw; sisters-in-law, Faith “Faye” Shaw and Mary Ann Carter; as well as by nephews.

 

Visitation will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church – Casco, on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 9-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am with Fr. Dennis Drury and Deacon Bob Miller officiating. Burial to follow at St. Adelbert’s Cemetery in Slovan. Online condolence messages may be shared at KinnardFCS.com.
