Shirley Mae Severin

Shirley Mae Severin, 80, of Kewaunee, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, peacefully at home with family by her side. She was born on March 7, 1943, to the late Herbert and Mabel (Chapek) Wolske. On January 21, 1967, she married the love of her life, Henry J. Severin. Shirley enjoyed traveling, flowers, gardening, and nature, playing cards (especially Sheepshead), and scrapbooking. Above all she loved watching the grandkids many-many activities and caregiving for her family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Henry J. Severin; children, Christine (Gordon Kline) Severin, Nick (Shara) Severin, Paul (Trisha Wisniewski) Severin; grandchildren, Nichole (Josh Thomas) Severin, Sam (Shelbi Seefeldt) Severin, Jack Severin, Max Severin; brothers, James (Judy) Wolske, Bruce Wolske; sisters, Barbara Bosdeck, Wendy (Jim) Stoller, Carol Wolske, Cindy Milinski; sisters-in-law, Donna (Dan), and Doris (Daryle Sr). She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and Herbert Wolske; brothers, Daryle Wolske Sr and Dan Wolske; and sister, Dianne Jacobs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 9-11 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church – Kewaunee. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am with Pastors John Moll and Joel McKenney officiating. Kinnard Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
