Mary Ann Crabb

Mary Ann Crabb, 86, Kewaunee, beloved wife, mother, and dear friend, passed away on April 23, 2024. She was born on July 4, 1937, to the late John and Ann (Paider) Jisa. Mary Ann embarked on life’s journey with courage and grace, marrying Alan Crabb on October 6, 1955. He sadly preceded her in death at an early age on December 11, 1967. After the early loss of her husband Alan, Mary Ann found strength in caring for her family and carrying on his family business, Crabbes Dairy. Her resilience and determination were truly inspiring, and she later was taken under Dr. Nesemann’s wing and became a medical assistant. A lover of card games, particularly sheepshead, Mary Ann cherished the moments spent with friends, especially during high school lunches, and with her friends and family at the cottage at Sand Bay where they enjoyed cocktail hour. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel and conquer the slopes while skiing, always embracing life's thrills with a contagious enthusiasm. Mary Ann was not only a devoted mother but also a first responder, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will forever be remembered by all who knew her. Mary Ann will be missed by the family she loved so dearly, her children, Greg (Sue) Crabb, Cindy Molny, Jeff (Julie) Crabb, Patti (Dale) Kropp, Terry (Cathy) Crabb, Laurie (Brian) Anderson; grandchildren, Michelle (Matthew) Henrickson, Melissa (Zach) Scott, Josh (Jami) Crabb, Erica (Austin) Walter, Cassidy (Brandon) Nicholson, Jenna (Kevin) Schmidt, Jordan (Pete) Doran, Alex Kropp, Jessica (Andy) Thibaudeau, Nicole (Eric) Stauber, Ashley (Derek) Havlovitz, Taylor Crabb, Brady Anderson, Tavia Anderson, Ileaha Anderson; great-grandchildren, Elliana Henrickson, Jonah Henrickson, Haley Scott, Grayson Scott, Brantley Crabb, Bryce Remington Crabb, Casey Thomas Walter, Avery Nicholson, LilyAnn Nicholson, Marley Nicholson, Kody Schmidt, Parker Thibaudeau, Elliana Thibaudeau, Aubree Thibaudeau, Connor Campion, Carter Campion, Maxx Stauber, Charlotte Stauber, Hudson Havlovitz, Grayson Havlovitz, Harrison Havlovitz, Isabella Hegnet, Evolet Anderson, Eli Bertrand; and her sisters, Betty (Jack) Schlies, and Adele VanderBloemen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Crabb; parents John & Ann Jisa; in-laws, Albert and Francis Crabb, brother, Jimmy Jisa; brothers-in-law, Leo VanderBlomen, Eugene Crabb, and Donald (Weiner) Verdegan.
