Letter to the Editor - Park Name Should Not Have Changed

Meaning no disrespect to George Pinney, but I think Olde Stone Quarry County Park should have been allowed to keep its name. It's one thing to name something new after a person, but it's something else to actually CHANGE a name that already works very well and indicates the history of the place at the same time. I was dismayed to see the change.

It will always be Olde Stone Quarry County Park to me.
