Letter to the Editor - Recall Petition-Signers Need To Pay Up

Dear Editor,

Thank you Wisconsin and Door County voters for showing your strength, determination and courage in retaining the rare common sense approach in Government.  By soundly defeating the folks who tried to steal your first vote through a senseless, selfish and expensive recall, simply because they did not get their way the first time, you have announced to the entire country that the silent majority has begun to exert itself.  Governor Walker and Lieutenant Governor Kleefisch carried (won) 60 out of the 72 counties in the re-call election, an overwhelming majority.  The majority of Wisconsinite’s, who made their choice in the 2010 general election, were forced to bear a great deal of turmoil ever since, including the expense of a needless re-call election.  With that said, I would like to propose that the million or so people who signed a re-call petition against Governor Scott Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch be required to send a check to the State of Wisconsin, in the amount of $16.00, to repay the majority of people who elected Governor Scott Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleesich the first time and again in the absolutely unnecessary and wasteful recall.  You owe us $16,000,000.00 re-call people (does not include the cost to repair damage done to our State Capitol, clean up expenses for the mess made by re-call protestors or law enforcement expenses incurred for the protection of innocents from the many union thugs who participated in the Madison protests).  Please pay up.
