Letter to the Editor - Egg Harbor Residents Deserve Answers

Very curious. Very curious indeed.

That is, the hiring of recently fired Door County Administrator Michael Serpe to a 90-day consultancy contract by the Egg Harbor Village Board. Serpe's stint with Door County was rife with turmoil, and he threatened "consequences" when he was let go.

So what is it that Serpe can do that the present Egg Harbor Village Administrator cannot do? Why are two people being paid to perform the same functions? And why is Serpe's salary being kept secret? Isn't it a taxpayer's right to know how his or her money is being spent?

It seems that something fishy is going on here. The constituents of the Village deserve some answers.
