Jobs, jobs, jobs!
Which party can create more jobs? God knows they all say how many jobs they have created or will create! I, for one, am certain that most job creation claims are utter BS! So what's to believe?
Well, if I were in charge of the federal government, and I wanted more jobs created in the private sector, I would go to the various Chamber of Commerces, or the manufacturers associations, and ask them, "What can government do to encourage your folks to hire more people?" Would they say they want coorporate taxes raised, or company dividends taxed at a higher rate so as to discourage their investors, or demand a full range of benefits for every new hire from healthcare to guaranteed pensions, or demand that federal government "diversity goals" be met, or that every new job must be union, or that any new pipelines will be unsafe? I think not.
Yet these are the types of things our President has espoused. No wonder employers are scared to hire. No wonder many feel that he has initiated a war against business. A company will only hire someone if they think that this person will help them make money. And now, under this President, many think this is pretty much impossible.
During our President's watch, we have experienced an unbroken string of consecutive months of unemployment of over 8%. Even by his own numbers. He has more of these months under his belt than all the President's combined since FDR. And our economy stinks by everyone's measure. And then there's his complete waste of his failed $787 billion "stimulus." So we need to re-elect him....why???
Too bad he doesn't have a clue as to how to get the economy moving. No ideas whatsoever. And after four years nobody buys the "It's Bush's fault" line any more. It's time to elect a man who knows how to create wealth, rather than make it disappear.
