We would love to feature your photo as a Photo of the Day.
We invite all amateur and professional photographers to submit their photos.  Browse through your personal collection and bring us your best to share with the world.

To submit your photo for possible use as the Photo of the Day, carefully read this page and click the "Submit Your Photo" button at the bottom.

Submission Requirements
Submissions not adhering to these guidelines will not be accepted.

1. You must be 18 years of age.  Minors 13 years and older may submit a photo with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your photo must have been taken in Door or Kewaunee Counties. (The photographer can live anywhere, but the photo must have been captured in Door or Kewaunee Counties.) 

3. All photos must be submitted in JPEG (.jpg) file format.

4. The longest side of your photo must measure no larger than 800 pixels and no smaller than 640 pixels.  (For tips on resizing, click here)

5. Your photo's file size must be no larger than 200K. 

6. Do not create borders around your photo or add any text or symbols on your image.

7. Send no more than one photo per day and do not send the same photo more than once.  (All submissions are kept on file for possible future use.)

8. You must read and agree to the Photo of the Day Terms and Conditions. (below)

9. With your submission you must provide your name, address, phone number and email and a title for your photo. (We will post your name and city of residence with the photo.  All other information is kept strictly confidential and never shared or sold.)

Although not a requirement, we would appreciate any brief comments (15 words or less) you'd like to share about the photo.  Also include where and when the photo was taken. (Your comments, place and date may be posted with the photo.)

Photo of the Day Terms and Conditions

In consideration of acceptance of my submitted photo as part of Door County Daily News.com's Photo of the Day, I hereby grant Door County Daily News.com and others with Door County Daily News.com's consent, the right to copy, distribute, publish, display and otherwise use the photo and text for purposes of the Photo of the Day program or for any advertising or publicity on behalf of the program or similar future programs.

I agree that the photo and text may be cropped, edited, electronically manipulated or otherwise altered, and that whether the photograph is used is entirely for Door County Daily News.com to decide.

I certify that I am the photographer and sole copyright owner of any photo and text I submit, or I have the owner's permission to submit this, and I have obtained the consent of all identifiable persons shown in it for these uses. I understand all ownership rights to this photo remain with me (or the owner that granted me permission to submit it).

I agree to reimburse Door County Daily News.com for all damages and expenses (including attorney's fees) they may incur from claims based on their use of my submitted photo or text.

I am at least 18 years old and have full legal authority to grant these rights to Door County Daily News.com or I am under 18 and my parent or guardian has read and accepted these terms for me. I am not under 13 years old.

All submissions to the Photo of the Day are reviewed. Door County Daily News.com reserves the right to reject any submission without notification. Door County Daily News.com will notify those whose pictures are selected for the Photo of the Day.
