The Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball team is off to a solid start this year as they’re trying to build off of last year’s terrific (17-6) season. Senior Cassie Schiltz is a team leader, and has committed to play college ball for the Phoenix of Wisconsin Green Bay. Jenny Bandow is the athletic director at Luxemburg-Casco and she says it’s not just a one-woman team.

In fact Cassie is not even the leading scorer this season, that’s senior Jenna Jorgensen, who is also the team’s leading rebounder. Head Coach Jeff Jodar is hoping to get contributions from everybody so they can win the North Eastern Conference after finishing second last year.

The Spartans take on Freedom tonight at Luxemburg-Casco at 7:00 PM
