Height making a difference on court for Kewaunee girls

The Kewaunee girls basketball team is off to a sensational start to the 2018-2019 season thanks to the height and talent of the players. The Storm is undefeated at 9-0 and has handed Southern Door and Algoma their only conference losses on the season. Both of those games were on the road for Kewaunee. There are six players on the team who are 5'9" or taller so they're really able to attack the paint on offense and defend it on defense. One of those tall players is Sara Dax (6'0"), who is the only senior on the team. She leads the team in points per game (20), rebounds per game (7), and assists per game (3). Head Coach Lynn Geier says Dax can do it all.

Coach Geier has also been impressed with Sara's leadership this season. During winter the break, the Storm girls will have a couple of practices before their first game back on Friday, January 4th at Peshtigo.
