Kewaunee wrestling hopes for second half surge

The Kewaunee High School wrestling team this year has been decimated by injuries. The team hopes to get the injured wrestlers back soon. In the last 3 events the Storm have only had nine or ten wrestlers competing. The team is also very young with most of the wrestlers being freshmen and sophomores. Head Coach Dan Steinhorst is expecting an improvement after the winter break with the young wrestlers getting better and the injured ones coming back. The star of the team is Jack Severin who is 17-0 on the season and 42-4 in his career. Coach Steinhorst explains how Severin is so good.

The Storm will come back from break on January 3rd to take on Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol at home at 7:00 PM.
