The Gibraltar boys’ basketball team sits in a three-way tie for fifth in the Packerland conference, but that does not negate what has been a solid season for the Vikings thus far. The conference continues to be a tough crowd, with several teams huddling around the .500 mark in conference play, and with all of them looking to gather momentum heading into 2019. Head coach Justin Burress has been pleased with the offensive production of the team, and especially with the prospect of having multiple threats to score when needed.
Gibraltar currently sits at 2-4 on the season and 2-2 in Packerland Conference play. The Vikings will face a tough test almost immediately following the new year, with Oconto (5-3) and Peshtigo (6-2) looking to deny Gibraltar a place in the upper half of the conference standings. Gibraltar returns to the court on January 3rd.
