The Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball coach reminisced about the 2004 state championship team. Current LC Head Coach Jeff Jodar was an assistant under the legendary Mike Schanhofer in 2004. The Spartans beat Richland Center 59-51 in the championship game. Three players combined from both teams ended up playing together in college at UW-Green Bay; Trisha Legois and Rachel Porath from L-C and Erin Templin from Richland Center. Coach Jodar said it was a special feeling to win it all especially after losing in heartbreaking fashion in the playoffs the last couple of seasons before.
