The Gibraltar Vikings will get a chance to further separate themselves from the .500 mark when they host the Sevastopol Pioneers Friday night. Gibraltar currently sits at 3-2 in the Packerland Conference, and are currently in a tie for third place with Kewaunee. Sevastopol is just 1-5 in the conference, but is riding a wave of momentum after picking up their first conference win on Monday, a 69-43 win over Algoma in which the Pioneers led by 30 points at the half. Gibraltar head coach Justin Burress said his team could not afford to look past its rival just because of their record.
