Sevastopol girls looking to be more aggressive as year rolls on

Coming off of a 56-45 loss to Green Bay NEW Lutheran on Monday, the Sevastopol girls basketball team will attempt to be more aggressive in forcing turnovers on defense. The Pioneers forced just 8 turnovers against the Blazers, and head coach Dan Judas pointed to the difference between turnovers forced and turnovers surrendered as a major factor in Monday's game. Judas said to create more turnovers, his team would need to cut down on theirs first.

The Pioneers will have plenty of opportunities to improve at taking the ball away, with games scheduled against Oconto, Peshtigo, and Stockbridge in the coming weeks. Sevastopol is 2-10 on the season and 0-9 in the Packerland Conference this season.
