Sturgeon Bay boys hoops closing out regular season gaining momentum

Sturgeon Bay boys basketball is gaining momentum heading into the regional tournament next week. A 70-26 win over Algoma Thursday night was a confidence booster before the team puts in final preparations for their round one home game Tuesday against Cedar Grove-Belgium (7:00 PM).

Carson Talbert played quite possibly his best game of the month with 19 points. Gunnar Tebon continues to pick it up offensively with 13 strong points from the guard. Mitchell Jackson added 12 points in the win.

The Clippers cranked up the defense in the second half only allowing five points in the final frame. Mithell Zimmer scored 10 points to lead the Wolves.
