The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Colorado Rockies 11-6 on Thursday. Freddy Peralta was recalled to Milwaukee to make the start. He had a rough time on the mound giving up six earned runs in four innings pitched. It was the first inning that gave Peralta trouble again.
The bats for the Brewers came alive throughout the game. Ryan Braun launched a solo shot in the fourth inning. He had two hits on the afternoon and drove in two runs. Mike Moustakas and Ben Gamel also both had two hits. The first inning deficit was just too much to fight back from.
The Brewers will now look to bounce back this weekend series against the Mets. They will kick it off Friday night as Brandon Woodruff will take the bump for Milwaukee. First pitch will be thrown out at 7:10.
