Brewers win sixth straight

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Washington Nationals 7-3 on Wednesday afternoon. Brandon Woodruff started on the mound for Milwaukee and pitched an absolute gem. He went a total of six innings only giving up one earned run while striking out nine. He would pick up the win with that effort.

Christian Yelich continued his crazy hot start to the season with another bomb. It was his 16th so far. Manny Pina also hit a homer in the second inning to give the Brewers a little cushion heading into the later innings. Josh Hader came in to nail down the ninth and pick up the save.

Milwaukee will now have a day off Thursday before starting a series with the Cubs on Friday. They will trot out Gio Gonzalez to face the Cubs in game one. First pitch will be thrown out at 1:10 from Wrigley Field.
