A three-run rally in the eighth inning gave the Milwaukee Brewers a much-needed series win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Sunday.
Tyler Saladino delivered an important blow in the fourth inning, hitting a grandslam with the Brewers down 4-0 to tie the game up. It stayed tied at 4-4 until the fateful eighth inning when Mike Moustakas, Yasmani Grandal, and Ben Gamel strung together hits to drive in the game and series clinching runs. Josh Hader settled things in the ninth inning for his 22nd save of the season.
The Brewers return home for an important homestand with plenty of NL Central intrigue as they face the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago Cubs in consecutive series.
