No Yelich, no problem for Brewers

Christian Yelich watched his teammates win their second straight game on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh. He got a scheduled day off and the Brewers took care of the Pirates 4-3. Yasmani Grandal got the scoring going in the fifth with an RBI double and Milwaukee would add another run in the inning. The Pirates tied it in the sixth but the Brewers took the lead for good in the seventh with a sacrifice fly from Orlando Arcia. They added a much-needed insurance run in the ninth on a stolen base play. Pittsburgh made it interesting in the bottom of ninth by scoring a run off Matt Albers but he was able to shut it down.

The Cubs lost Tuesday night so Milwaukee is now three games out of first place in the NL Central. The Brewers will be in Pittsburgh again on Wednesday night with a 6 PM first pitch.
