Only one preseason game in and the Green Bay Packers have already lost a potential starter. According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, LB Oren Burks is believed to have a torn pectoral muscle. Burks suffered the injury during the first quarter of the Packers preseason games against the Houston Texans on Thursday. The second-year linebacker was expected to start along Blake Martinez at the middle linebacker positions. Undrafted rookie Curtis Bolton and seventh-round pick Ty Summers are expected to battle for the starting position now. The timeline of how long Burks will be out is unknown until more tests are completed.
