It was the first road test of the 2019 season for Green Bay in week two of exhibition play and the defense never got off the plane. Baltimore scored at least once in every quarter en route to a 26-13 victory. Most worrisome was the Ravens rushing attack. Baltimore had 171 yards on the ground compared to just 55 for the Green and Gold. Baltimore’s run game allowed the Ravens to control the clock, possessing the ball for an extra six more minutes.
When Green Bay’s offense wasn’t on the sidelines they were paced by Quarterback Tim Boyle who was 12 of 21 for 107 yards and a touchdown. Darin Hall was the Pack’s leading rusher with seven carries for 31 yards. Darrius Shepherd was targeted six times, catching three including the TD. Allen Lazard led the team with 63 receiving yards. The Packers are back on the road next Thursday at Oakland at 7 PM.
