Sevastopol volleyball falls in five sets

Coming off the big Algoma Invitational win last weekend, Sevastopol volleyball hoped to continue to build momentum. Unfortunately for the Pioneers, they fell in five sets Tuesday evening to Peshtigo 18-25, 26-24, 15-25, 25-19, 8-15. Sevastopol volleyball showed heart as they fought back all night before falling in the tiebreaking fifth set.


Mya Ploor was the leader offensively with 16 kills. Ploor was also a force on defense with 22 digs. Sasha Laaksonen served up 35 assists. On the front line Rebekah Andreae led the squad with eight blocks.
