Preparing for winter sports season

Some Door and Kewaunee County teams are still finishing up the fall sports seasons but winter sports squads are getting ready for theirs. Middle school basketball have already started playing competitive games and high school teams are getting in practices. Kewaunee's girls basketball team will play the first game of the basketball season in the area on November 19th when the Storm travel to Denmark.

 

The Sturgeon Bay-Sevastopol wrestling program has registration on Sunday and Monday, Kewaunee wrestling will look to win another conference championship this season while Luxemburg-Casco will try to get back to state championship form after falling short last season.

 

The fall sports teams still alive in the playoffs are Kewaunee football, Gibraltar football and volleyball, Sturgeon Bay soccer, Luxemburg-Casco volleyball and Sevastopol's Olivia Stenzel will be competing at state for cross country.
