For the fourth time in the last decade, the Wisconsin Badgers will stop and smell the roses before concluding its football season.
The Rose Bowl serves as a nice consolation prize for the Badgers after falling to College Football Playoff participant Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game on Saturday. The Badgers will face Oregon after they beat Utah in the Pac 12 Championship game last Friday. The traditional Big Ten/Pac 12 matchup featured the two teams in a 45-38 Ducks victory in 2012. The Badgers hope to get their first Rose Bowl victory since they won two straight Rose Bowls in 1999 against UCLA and 2000 against Stanford.
The New Year's Day bowl kicks off at 4 p.m.
