Bucks win battle of NBA's best

Milwaukee fired a warning shot to the best team in the Western Conference on Thursday night, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 111-104. The frontcourt stole the show with an all-star game caliber matchup going back and forth from the power forward position. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 34 to go with 11 rebounds and seven assists. Antetokounmpo hit five 3-pointers which is a career-best.

The Bucks held serve in the marquee series at home. NBA scheduling guarantees a road game between the teams and that happens in March. After that, it would be the NBA Finals when the teams could possibly meet again next summer.
