Packers run the North

The Green Bay Packers have clinched a home playoff game and can still get a first-round bye after its NFC North-clinching 23-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings Monday night.

The Packers could have had an even bigger offensive night if it wasn't for three costly turnovers that gave the Vikings excellent field position for their two scores on the evening. The two teams traded field goals in the first quarter before Stefon Diggs reached the endzone on a Kirk Cousins pass to make it 10-3. The Packers would kick two more field goals to make it a one-point game at the half. The final two scores of the game came thanks to the legs of Aaron Jones who scampered for a 12-yard touchdown in the third quarter and one from 56 yards to put the game out of reach. Jones rushed for 156 yards while Aaron Rodgers threw for 216 yards and an interception.

The Packers will play their final game of the season Sunday in Detroit against the Lions with a chance for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs a possibility.
