The Sevastopol High School boys basketball team is competing in a tournament in Lena this weekend. The first round was Friday with the Pioneers being edged by Stockbridge 66-61. That drops Sevastopol to 0-4 on the season. They will play again Saturday in the consolation game against the host school.
The Panthers are also winless on the season at 0-6 meaning the matchup represents Sevastopol’s best chance, to date, to break into the win column. Lena lost to the fourth team in the tournament, Valley Christian, by a healthy 70-48 margin. Tipoff is at 4 PM.
