Big quarter springs Bucks past Bulls

The Milwaukee Bucks outscored the Chicago Bulls 40-25 in the game's third quarter en route to a 123-102 road victory.

The Bulls defense simply could not slow down the Bucks offense, which knocked down 11 three pointers and connected on 54 percent of their shots. Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 25 points with Giannis Antetokounmpo close behind with 23 of his own. Four other players scored in double figures for the Bucks, including 14 points off the bench for Ersan Illyasova. Zach Lavine scored 19 in the loss for the Bulls. The Bucks are back in action New Year's Day night when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves.
