With their visitors playing for their postseason lives, the Wisconsin Badgers were able to hold off the scrappy Minnesota Golden Gophers 71-69 in Madison Sunday evening.
Brad Davison led the way with 20 points for the Badgers with three of his other teammates also scoring in double figures. Daniel Otru led all scorers with 26 points for the Golden Gophers with teammate Marcus Carr chipping in another 21. The Badgers were down four points with two minutes left before Aleem Ford put the Badgers ahead for good with a dunk with 30 seconds left in the game.
The Badgers still have an outside chance to win the Big Ten with a little help, but they need to take care of business on their home court when they play their final game at Kohl Center this week against Northwestern.
